Dr. David Matusz is a nationally recognized, board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with more than two decades of experience specializing in the diagnosis & surgical treatment of complex conditions affecting the neck, back, and spine. He is Co-Chief of Orthopedic Spine Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and has performed more than 5,000 spine surgeries, treating patients with both common and highly complex spinal disorders.
His expertise includes minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, spinal deformity, complex spinal reconstruction, failed back syndrome, and spine revision surgery.
Over the course of his career, he has earned the trust of an unusually broad community of patients, including many physicians and orthopedic surgeons, their family members, mentors, residents, and residents’ family members.
